Doris Jennings Brown was born September 10, 1933 in Madison, County to her Parents Sam and Neva Jennings. Doris confessed Christ at an early age and attended the Royal Tabernacle Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Lee McQueen. Doris met and married Adolphus Brown in Jacksonville, Florida on May 31, 1972. Doris departed this life on March 31, 2021 and was preceded in death by her husband, Adolphus Brown. Doris leaves to celebrate her life five children, Sylvia Webb, Claude (Therosa) Baker, Linda (Eddie) Baker, Rhonda Richardson, and Patricia Stovall, 13 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, 18 great-great grandchildren, sister MaryGreen, and a host of nieces, nephews, and many sorrowing friends.
The funeral service for Doris Brown will be held 11:00 am Saturday, April 10th, 2021 at the First Samuel Baptist Church 3333 Franklin Street Jacksonville, Florida. The visitation will be 5:00 pm 7:00 pm , Friday, April 9th, 2021 at the Funerals by T.S. Warden 4315 North Main Street Jacksonville, FL 32206. Interment in Edgewood Cemetery.
