Easter Mae Dixon Holloway Watler was born in Hatley, Georgia on April 5, 1942 to Lee Roy and Ida Mae Dixon. She received her education at Wheeler County Training School.

Easter later met and married James Ozell Holloway, Sr. in Alamo, Georgia on September 17, 1959. From this union two sons and three daughters, James Jr., Darrin, Latonya, Nichelle and Geneva were born.

Easter departed this life on Monday, August 27, 2018. She was preceded in death by her oldest daughter, Geneva Holloway.

Easter leaves to cherish her memories: her children, James Ozell Holloway, Jr. (Cynthia) of Miami, Florida, Darrin Holloway of Jacksonville, Florida, Latonya Parks Stewart of Jacksonville, Florida and Nichelle Holloway of Miami, Florida; brothers, Horace Banks and Mike Dixon; sisters, Mozelle Dixon and Karen Dixon, 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 5 great great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
