Obituary for Ebony Denise Nicholas

Ebony Denise Nicholas, a true angel, gained her wings on Tuesday, September 29, 2020, at the age of 22 years. She born on December 20, 1997 in Jacksonville, Florida. Ebony was a member of the Paxon Revival Center Church where she gave her life to Christ at an early age. She attended William M. Raines High School. She was an extremely hard-working and dedicated mother. She was a sweet, funny, compassionate person and very gifted in videography and dance.

Ebony will be lovingly remembered by her family that loved and cared for her dearly. Her kind and genuine spirit will be greatly missed by her children, Ace and Aiden; parents, Mona Reid-Nicholas and John Hagan, who adored their baby girl; siblings, Cody Nicholas, Travis Nicholas (Imani), Chassity Nicholas, and Shannon Nicholas-Bivins (James); maternal grandmother, Hattie Reid who raised Ebony from birth; and a host of loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Gertrude Hagan and Linsey Hagan; aunt, Jessica Reid-Brinson in which she shared a very special bond; and maternal grandfather, Jessie Monroe.

The funeral service for Ebony Denise Nicholas will be held at 11:00 am Friday, October 9th, 2020 at the Main Attraction Event Place 1842-1 Blanding Boulevard Jacksonville, Florida 32210. The visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 pm, Thursday, October 8th, 2020 at the Funerals by T.S. Warden 4315 North Main Street Jacksonville, FL 32206. Interment in Edgewood Cemetery.
