Edward Douglas Middleton was born on September 19, 1963, in Fernandina Beach, Florida to Alfred Middleton, Jr. and Mother Gladys Richo-Middleton. He attended the Public Schools in Nassau County.

On Monday October 12, 2015 a chapter in the book of life was closed and a chapter in his new life began in Glory, as he went home to be with the Lord.

Edward was preceded in death by his father, Alfred Middleton, Jr.; two brothers, Rudolph and Alfred; and one sister, Latonya Middleton.

Edward will be greatly missed by his mother, Mother Gladys Richo-Middleton, Chester, Florida; godparents, Uncle George and Mary Thompson; three brothers, Calvin (Barbara) Kellogg, Fernandina Beach, Florida, Japannah (Maxine) Kellogg, Apalachicola, Florida, and Rev. Simon (Lynn) Middleton, Lake City, Florida; five sisters, Emma Green, Gloria Roberts, S. Gail Wilson, all of Jacksonville, Florida, Mary Ann (Lester) McKellum, Lake City, Florida, and Lanarva Morris, Sanford, Florida; estranged wife, Sandra Green; uncles, Jerome (Jeanette) Richo, Abraham (Dorothy) Richo, and Johnell (Deloris) Richo all of Fernandina Beach, Florida; aunts, Geraldine Walker, Fernandina Beach, Florida and Hattie Joseph, Gautie, Mississippi; a special niece, Cynthia Kellogg; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and very special friends, James Barber, Anthony Alderman, and Tracey Middleton.


The funeral service for Edward Douglas Middleton will be held 11:00 am SATURDAY, at the River of Praise Worship Center 83410 St Mark Dr Yulee, FL 32034. The visitation will be 5- 7:00 pm , Friday, at Funerals By T. S. Warden 4315 North Main St Jacksonville, FL 32206. Interment in Oak Grove Cemetery.
