Obituary for Elone Stewart
Elone Stewart, aka “STU”, was born in Fernandina Beach, Florida on June 24, 1946 to his parents, Queen and Morgan Stewart. He received his education at the local schools graduating from Peck High School, Class of 1964.
Elone met and married Joann Nate and they became the parents of five beautiful children. He was a hardworking man and was employed at Ryder Truck Line for many years until his retirement.
Elone departed this life on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 and was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Joann Stewart; children, Bryan (Angela), Annette (John), Frank (Tracey), Brenda, and Gordon Jr.; siblings, David, Lillian, Joesephus, Ceasar, Augustus, Elizabeth, George Ann, and Aletha; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.
The funeral service for Mr. Elone Stewart will be held 11:00 am Saturday, January 9th, 2021 at the Evergreen Cemetery, 4535 Main Street, Jacksonville, FL 32208. The visitation will be 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. , Friday, January 8th, 2021 at the Funerals by T.S. Warden ,4315 North Main Street, Jacksonville, FL 32206. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery.
