Eugenia Thomas was born on July 20, 1941 in St. Augustine, Florida to Jeff and Ellaree Thomas. She confessed Christ at an early age and was a member of New Colossians Missionary Baptist in Jacksonville.

Eugenia lived her life in Jacksonville, FL and attended Northwestern High school. Anyone who ever met her was instantly touched by her heart of gold and her infectious laugh.

Eugenia departed this life on Sunday, June 7, 2020 at the age of 78 in Jacksonville, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jeff and Ellaree Thomas; son, Warren Eugene Thomas; and brothers, Robert (Bob) and Lorenzo Thomas.

Eugenia leaves to mourn in her passing her daughter, Shelia Alexander (Chris); granddaughters, Tameca Evans and Latisha Carter; great-grandson Jaden, Jayce, and Jai Jackson; siblings, Edward Thomas, Julius Thomas, and Yvonne Williams (Abraham); and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

The funeral service for Eugenia Thomas will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, June 13th, 2020 at the Samuel C. Rogers, Jr. Memorial Chapel 4315 N. Main Street Jacksonville, FL 32206. The visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 pm, Friday, June 12th, 2020 at the Funerals by T.S. Warden 4315 North Main Street Jacksonville, FL 32206. Interment in Restlawn Cemeteries South.
