Evelyn Frances Pigg was born in Brewton, Alabama on March 14, 1940 to her parents, Vincent and Elmira May. She later met and married Haston Lewis Pigg, Sr. in Folkston, Georgia on July 6, 1971. From this union was born two daughters, Lisa F. Brooks and Melissa C. Kelly.

Evelyn departed this life on Saturday, November 14, 2020 and was preceded in death by her husband, Haston Lewis Pigg, Sr.; daughter, Evelyn Rena Alston; and sisters, Nell Curtis Walter and Florence May-Prather.

She leaves to mourn her passing: daughters, Lisa F. Brooks and Melissa C. Kelly; son, Haston Lewis, Jr. (Denise); daughters, Bobbie Williams, Linda Louise Polen (Warren), Angela Evans, and Antoinette Wade (Neal); 23 grandchildren; 54 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Lula Mae Wright (William), Arkadelphia, Arkansas; brothers-in-law, Bishop Roosevelt Pigg (Barbara), Sparkman, Arkansas, Curry Pigg (Theresa), San Diego, California, and Ulyssses Pigg, Jacksonville, Florida; 13 nieces and 7 nephews; special friends, Leola Chambers, Edith Jones, Jean White, Ruth Tisby, Catherine Salters, Valerie Rivers, and Steve Brightwell; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The funeral service for Evelyn Frances "Pigg" will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, November 25th, 2020 at the Funerals by T.S. Warden - Samuel C. Rogers, Jr. Memorial Chapel 4315 N Main St Jacksonville, FL 32206. The visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 pm, Tuesday, November 24th, 2020 at the Funerals by T.S.
