Obituary for Evelyn Denise Wallace
On March 27, 2019 an Angel was called home. Our beloved sister and auntie, Evelyn Denise Wallace. She was born on September 21, 1956 to the late Juniper and Gladys Wallace. Evelyn was a resident of Jacksonville, Florida.
Evelyn attended the local schools graduating from Andrew Jackson Sr. High School and furthered her education at Florida Junior College.
At an early age she gave her life to Christ, she was a member of First Baptist Church of Oakland. Evelyn was a loyal, dedicated, compassionate caretaker to our family. She loved to cook, sew and take care of her family.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, Juniper Jr. and David; sister, Carolyn Wallace.
Evelyn leaves behind to cherish her memories a sister, Gwendolyn; three brothers, James (Pat), Larry and Keith Wallace; a host of sorrowing nieces, nephews, family and friends.
The funeral service for Evelyn Denise Wallace will be held 11:00 am Friday, April 12th, 2019 at the Funerals By T. S. Warden - Samuel C. Rogers, Jr. Memorial Chapel 4315 N Main St Jacksonville, FL 32206. The visitation will be 10:00 - 11:00 am, Friday, April 12th, 2019 at the Samuel C. Rogers Jr. Memorial Chapel 4315 N.
