REFLECTIONS

Genevia Clark was born September 8, 1928, in Olgethorpe, Georgia (Macon County). She was the third of five siblings born to Mr. and Mrs. Evans and Mammie Rogers Clark, all of whom preceeded her in death. She attended the local schools of Macon County and surrounding areas.
On August 24, 1946 she was united in Holy Matrimony to Archie B Terry in Olgethorpe, Georgia. In 1955 they moved their family to Jacksonville, Florida. They were married for fifty- one wonderful years until the Lord called her husband home in 1997. Their union was blessed with ten children plus one. She was affiliated with St. John’s Baptist Church of Jacksonville. Mrs. Terry as she was known, was a Housewife and Caregiver for family and friends, as well as having various other jobs outside the home. She was greatly favored for her love of cooking and baking. One of the best cooks ever known.
On January 9, 2010 God called her home to rest. She has left so many precious memories behind for her devoted family. Celebrating these memories are her children Jeannette Cannon McCardy (Willie), Gloria Tucker (Jessie), Catherine Grant(Sam, deceased), Mary Clark (Larry), Warren Terry (Hilda), Stanley Terry, Michael Terry, Priscilla Hinton (Timmy), Beverly Mack, Gregory Terry and Gwen Douglas (Jeroal); 28 Grandchildren(Theresa(JD), King Jr., Dorthea(Jeff) Joseph (deceased) (Jacquelyn), Adrian(Kashia), Jessie III(Pat), Tammie(James), Standralyn(Ron), Megan, Teri, Sam, Sabrina, Spencer, Ebony(Michael), Kheri(Kim), Deidra, Warren Jr., Kasha, Stantheresa, Stantania, Michael, Niesha, Sarafina, Brandon, Blair, Colin, True, Ture’), 31 Great Grandchildren and 9 Great Great Grandchildren, special friends Elizabeth Shephard and Mary Webster known as the Posse, with a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and close friends.
