Grevonda Danyelle Lowe-Sullivan affectionately known as “La-La” was born on December 25, 1983 in Jacksonville, Florida. She was caring, loving, vivacious, and full of life. Grevonda loved to sing, cook, and bake her signature red-velvet cupcakes. Grevonda enjoyed touring the theme parks with her family when she could.
Grevonda attended the local schools in Duval County, graduating from William M. Raines Senior High School Class of 2002. “La-La” went on to pursue studies at the University of North Florida. “La-La” was united in marriage to David Sullivan on New Year’s Eve 2019. She had a smile that could light up the darkest room with those deep dimples and always had a kind word for all who she encountered.
Grevonda departed this life on May 4, 2021. She fought a good fight and is at rest after many years of complicated health issues. Grevonda was preceded in death by sister: Shante Lowe; maternal grandmother: Eliza Carson; paternal grandfather: Willie Lowe; and sister-in-law: Mia Yulee.
Grevonda leaves to cherish fond memories with her husband David Sullivan; daughter: Lauryn Frazier, stepchildren: Destiny Sullivan, Danielle Sullivan, Aaron Base; parents: Deborah Stokes (Ricky) and Greg Lowe, Sr. (Erin); brothers: Sergio and Greg Jr.; paternal grandmother: Ethel Lowe; sister in laws: Taki Starkes, Tamica Jackson (Jonathan); Brother in law: Glenn Sullivan; aunts: Tanya Carson-Estrada, Jackie Bell (Cicero), Marshandra Jackson (Steve), Sharon Thomas (Roy), Casandra Carson, Velma McGhee (Allen), Tangie Turner (Lester), and Penny Sawyer; niece and nephew: Jasia Lowe and Greg “Tre” Lowe III; special friends: Toccara Burgess, Rueben Warren, Maurice Williams, and Charles Baldwin; a host of cousins, extended family, and other sorrowing friends; including special cousins: Tanisha, Danisha, and Shavon.
The public viewing for Grevonda Danyelle Lowe-Sullivan will be held Friday, May 14th, 2021 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the Funerals by T.S. Warden, 4315 North Main Street, Jacksonville, FL 32206.
