Obituary for IRENE PERRY WILLIAMS
Irene Perry Williams was born on November 21, 1923 in Plains, Georgia to Georgia Wilkerson and John Henry Lane. She received her education in the Plains Georgia School System. Irene later met and married Gus Williams Sr. in Jacksonville, Florida from this union 3 sons, Henry, Freddie and Gus Jr. and 1 daughter, Carolyn were born.
Irene departed this life on Sunday, September 3, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gus Williams Sr.; daughter, Gloria Jean Nelms; son, Henry L Brown.
Irene leaves to mourn her passing, children, Freddie Williams (Almaria), Carolyn Cohen (Irvin) and Gus Williams Jr. (Yvette); daughter-in-law, Judy Brown; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, goddaughter, Ashley Cole, cousins and friends.
