Obituary for James A. Blue

James Arthur Blue was born in Nassauville, Florida, on September 23, 1935, to the late Mr. Willie and Lucinda Blue. He graduated from Peck High School Class of 1956, where he played football. He worked for Nassau Lumber Company for many years, where he later retired. He enjoyed watching wrestling and the Jacksonville Jaguars. 

James was a loving and dedicated husband, father, and grandfather. He was married for thirty-seven years to Ms. Eloise M. Harris and from that union five children were born: Felicia (deceased), Rodney, Nadine, Shawna (deceased), and Cedric (deceased). He has eight grandchildren: Ronnie Jr. (Marci), James (Fabiola), Veronica, Brian, Spencer, Cedric, Rodric, and Na'Daesha; great-grandchildren: Siera, J'Niaya, J'Ron, Carter, Khloe, and Nova. He also leaves behind one sister, Elaine Blue Thomas; ten nieces; ten nephews; sister-in-law, Nancy Dickson; brothers-in-law, Charles Harris Jr. and Calvin Wilson Sr.; nephews, Craig Dawkins, Calvin Jr., and Ian; sons-in-law, Gregory Smith Sr. and Bernard Wright; one godson, Sean Way; and a host of other relatives and friends.

James was a quiet man and caring soul who always looked out for others. A giving spirit that always worked hard and loved his family.
