Obituary for Ja'Quan Lutrell Walker

Ja’Quan Lutrell Walker affectionately known as “John-John” was born in Jacksonville, Florida on July 3, 2002, to Precious Walker and Johnny Lutrell Jones. He was educated at Susie Tolbert Elementary School, Eugene Butler Middle School, William M. Raines High School, and most recently Lone Star High School.

Ja’Quan loved basketball, video games, and rapping. He was set to begin touring as a rapper at the end of August.

Ja’Quan leaves to cherish his memories, a loving and devoted mother, Precious Walker-Lacey (Delton); father, Johnny L. Jones; grandmother, Sandra Royal; grandfather, Johnny Jones; 1 brother, Tyrann Payne; two sisters, Calvaray Baker and Ra’naya Sablon; 2 uncles, Jerry Simpson (ShaRonda) and Cornelius Roberts; one niece, Anari Payne; several cousins, including Aiden Simpson, Sandra Simpson (Shantal), Samuel Simpson, Ava Simpson, Carolyn Simpson Harold (Claude), Cameron and Courtney Harold, Antonio Rogers, and Te’Ana Rogers; loving friends including, Willie Royal, Davarious Hayes, Xzavia Mitchell, Andrew Sharp, Jaquez Griffin, and a host of other family members and friends.
