Jennie Lee Tyler was born September 26, 1942 to the late Joe and Daisy Lexie. She was born in Halcyondale, Georgia, Screven County. She attended Effingham County Public Schools and later attended College in Jacksonville, Florida.
Jennie was preceded in death by her father, Joe Lexie; .mother, Daisy Lexie; brother, James (Boot) Dixon; and grandson, Terry Griffin.
Jennie fulfilled her Life’s purpose, earning her wings on June 1, 2019. Although she has taken her rightful place in Heaven, she will continue to love and protect those she kept close. She will be forever loved by her sons, Willie J. Tyler Jr (Vanessa), Lynn D Griffin (Theresa), and Mark K. Griffin. Her spirit will live on through the smiles of her grandchildren, Jeffrey Tyler (Denver, CO), Dominique Tyler (Sugarland, TX), Desmond Griffieth (Rhoda) (Buckhead, AZ), Iesha Garvin (Savannah, GA), Lynn (LJ) Griffin, Jr., Tiara Griffin, and Niya Griffin. Her legacy will continue through her great-grands, Jakayla Shakai Tyler, Dominique Travon Garvin, and Ryan Griffieth. She leaves a lifetime of memories to her sisters, Annabell Roberson (Oliver), Louise Robbins (Calvin), Rosalee Teague (Henry), along with brothers, Lawrence Tolbert, Richard Dixon (Tammy), and Bernard Dixon (Anita). She is further survived by a hosts of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
