Obituary for John Arthur Mack

John Arthur Mack was born on January 4, 1965 to Bart Mack, Jr. and Lorraine Kohn Roberts (Norris) in Jacksonville, Florida. He attended Rufus E. Payne, Oceanway Jr. High, Jean Ribault Jr. High and Senior High School. John met Chenita LaRosa in 1982 and they married May 26, 1990, to this union their son, Calvin and daughter, Janel was born.

John was the kind of person that anywhere he went he would run across an old friend or made a new one; he was always the attention getter and you could always find him in any crowd by his loud voice in a conversation or the barking noisy sound he would make at a sporting event when he was cheering for his favorite team or persons.

John had a love for the Norte Dame fighting Irish college football team and for the New York Giants NFL football team, but his favorite pastime was talking crape about those Giants and showing off his “G man van”. So, if you didn’t know about that van…then you didn’t know about John.

John departed this life Thursday, December 20, 2018. He was preceded in death by father, Bart Mack, Jr. and brother, Harold Mack.
