John Daniel Reed, Jr., affectionately known to his family and friends as “Johnny”, was born in Jacksonville, Florida on June 20, 1959 to John D. Reed, Sr. and Bertha Lee Reed.. He confessed Christ at an early age uniting with the Church of God and Christ of the Apostolic Faith. He attended school at Wolfson Senior High, but later obtained his diploma at Job Corp of Texas.

Johnny was loved by all of his family and friends, and will be deeply missed.

Johnny departed this life on Monday, April 13, 2020 and was preceded in death by his father, John Daniel Reed, Sr.; mother, Bertha Lee Reed; sister, April Elaine Reed; and niece, Kizzy Wiggins.

He leaves to mourn his passing three brothers, Amos Reed, Sr., Roderick Reed, Sr., and Eric Reed, Sr.; two sisters, Amandlyn Isom (Dewayne) and Cecily Wiggins (Calvin); 18 nephews and nieces, Larry Reed, Juanita Coakley, Terry Brooks, Sedrick Brooks, Roderick Reed, Jr., Setrina Reed, Amos Reed, Jr., Shonikka Brooks, Eric Reed, Jr., Johnathon Christopher Reed, Daniel Solomon, Kori Reed, Keanna Reed, Elaine Wiggins, Jacquez Reed, Thomas Wiggins, and John Wiggins; many great nephews and great nieces; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The funeral service for John Daniel Reed Jr. will be held 1:30 pm Friday, April 24th, 2020 at the Funerals by T.S. Warden - Samuel C.
