Karen Louise Ayers was born in Alderson, Virginia on May 24, 1975 to her parents Catherine Merritt and James Ayers. From this union was born three sons, Andre Long, Anson Whitty, Davion English and one daughter, Talesha English.

Karen departed this life on Monday, April 22, 2019, and was preceded in death by her mother, Catherine Merritt; son, Davion English and great aunt Sylvia Pryor-Sessions.

Karen leaves to cherish her memories a devoted family, daughter, Talesha English; sons, Andre Long, Anson Whitty; sister, Kelly Merritt; brothers, James Tyler, Theron Merritt; aunt, Debra; great aunt, Darlene Hickson; granddaughter, Mariah Kirkland; cousins, Deidre Pryor, Marlee Whitfield, Sylvia Whitfield, Brandon Whitfield, Christopher Brooks; god children, Sashia Wilcox, Taylor Hopkins, Cocoa Dove, Raymond Tyndal and a host of other relatives and friends.

The funeral service for Karen Louise Ayers will be held 12PM, Thursday, May 2nd, 2019 at the Samuel C. Rogers Jr. Memorial Chapel 4315 N. Main Street Jacksonville, FL 32206. The visitation will be 11 - 12PM, Thursday, May 2nd, 2019 at the Samuel C. Rogers Jr. Memorial Chapel 4315 N. Main Street. Private Interment.
