Karen attended St. Paul's Catholic School and William M. Raines, Class of 1990. She graduated from University of North Florida in 1996 with a degree in Communications.
Karen is survived by a son, Jordan; her mother, Gwendolyn Murphy; father, James Murphy (Donna); devoted sister, Kimberly Murphy Spence (Sheldon); brothers, Tracy Murphy and Jai Wells; nephews, Wade and Christian Spence; niece, Logan Murphy; aunt, Mrs. Rose Munoz; uncle, Jimmie C. Evans, Jr. of Macon, Georgia; numerous cousins, among them, Evelyn Benson, Sean Hawkins, and Anita Powers, all of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Valencia Rivera (Ted), Shannon Daniels (Monica), Judy Carrol (Joe); and many more family and friends; devoted caregivers: Alesa Motes, Antionette Singleton; visiting nurses: Casie Coles, Marcie, and Deborah Richardson; and Baptist Wound Care Staff: Dr. Karen Fleck and her awesome, professional and caring staff.
