Obituary for Kelvin Eugene Lang II

Mr. Kelvin Lang II was born on August 7, 1979 to Kelvin and Charlotte Lang in Jacksonville, Florida. Kelvin was lovingly known by his family and close friends as “Hotdog.” Kelvin accepted Christ as his Savior while attending St. Thomas Missionary Baptist Church and on October 25, 2019, Kelvin transitioned to his heavenly home. Kelvin was a graduate of First Coast High School, class of 1997. He later joined and served in the United States Army where he served his country as a medic in the infantry unit and was honorably discharged in 2004. After serving his country and obtaining numerous medals, Kelvin attended the Universal Technical Institute (“UTI”) where he graduated with high honors and acquired his certification as a licensed automotive technician. After graduation, Kelvin obtained numerous internships, which resulted in permanent employment for several years with BMW in Houston, Texas and later Jacksonville, Florida. Kelvin enjoyed living life to the fullest and his passion and gifts included drawing, music, playing football, maintaining and uniquely transforming distinct cars, and attending car meets. Kelvin was a member of Elite Alliance Luxury Performance, LLC and the North Florida Bimmers. Kelvin leaves to cherish his loving memories two children Kenyan Moreno and Noah Lang; parents Kelvin Lang and Charlotte Lang; sister, Tangeia Harrell (Melvin Harrell, Jr.); nephew, Myles Harrell; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and many sorrowing friends.

The funeral service for Kelvin Eugene Lang II will be held 11AM Monday, November 4th, 2019 at the St Thomas Missionary Baptist Church 5863 Moncrief Rd. The visitation will be, Friday, November 1st, 2019 at Funerals by T.S. Warden. Interment in Jacksonville National Cemetery. Please sign the family guest book @ www.tswarden.com.
