Kierra Marvette Day was born in Jacksonville, Florida on October 27, 1993 to her parents Mortimer Day and Derretress Preston. She confessed Christ at an early age uniting with Cathedral of Faith Church of God in Christ where she was baptized. She attended schools in Jacksonville, Florida and received her education at Zarephath Academy.

Kierra departed this life on Tuesday, October 20, 2020, and was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Annabelle Day and Princeen Henderson.

She leaves to mourn her passing: her father, Mortimer (Chiquita) Day ; mother, Demetress Preston; brothers, Brian George, Jaylen Green, and Lorenzo Stubbs; sisters, Sha’Kira Preston, Markeyuna Stubbs, and Keshanti Stubbs; grandparents, Lawrence (Frankie) Wright and Michael (Diana) Day; and a host of other relatives and friends.


The funeral service for Kierra Marvette Day will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, October 31st, 2020 at the Restlawn Cemeteries 2600 Ribault Scenic Drive Jacksonville, FL 32208. The visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 pm, Friday, October 30th, 2020 at the Funerals by T.S. Warden 4315 North Main Street Jacksonville, FL 32206. Interment in Restlawn Cemeteries.
