Korrey Lamont Clayton was born February 24, 1985, in Jacksonville, Florida to Catherine and Anthony Clayton. As a kid he was funny, playful, and clever and he enjoyed watching WWE wrestling and playing football on a team coached by his father.
Korrey graduated from Frank Peterson High School in Jacksonville, Florida. He began working at UPS for about one year until his health began to fail him. Even in sickness, he remained strong and kept fighting. Though his health presented him with many challenges, he always tried his best to be a positive light to those around him.
As strong-willed and upbeat as he was, God knew he was tired and on Saturday, February 5, 2022, God called him home to rest in perfect peace. He was at Kindred Hospital in Green Cove Springs. Korrey was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Arzula Keys and Doris Weathers.
Korrey leaves to mourn his passing: his parents, Catherine and Anthony Clayton; siblings, and his extended family and friends. He touched the lives of more people than we can name, and his loss is deeply felt.
