Lamar Darren Johnson at a young age lived in Tennessee where they had basketball teams in Elementary School and he was a star. After relocating to Jacksonville, Lamar attended Paxon Middle School and Raines High School. He also loved basketball, video games, and teams. His love for his dogs and their puppies was his priority. And his love of his dad’s cooking will be remembered.

Lamar leaves to mourn: mom and dad, Edwina and Everett Rich, Shamona Johnson; two sisters, Shakira Johnson and Ciara Johnson; three brothers, Derrick Jenkins Jr., Jeron Covington, and Luther Parks; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and his Paxon Family.

The funeral service for Lamar Darren Johnson will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, September 24th, 2022 at the Samuel C. Rogers, Jr. Memorial Chapel 4315 N Main Street Jacksonville, FL 32206. The visitation will be 5-7 P.M., Friday, September 23rd, 2022 at the Funerals by T.S. Warden 4315 North Main Street Jacksonville, FL 32206. Interment in Restlawn Cemeteries South.
