Obituary for Larry Darnell Wilson Jr.

Larry Darnell Wilson, Jr. was born in Valdosta, Georgia on January 10, 1976 to the late Larry Wilson, Sr. and Mary Wilson. He was added to the body of Christ September 15, 1996 at Newsome Street Church of Christ in Hahira, Georgia. He later moved membership after moving from Valdosta, Georgia to Lem Turner Circle Church of Christ in Jacksonville, Florida.
Larry graduated from Valdosta High School in Valdosta, Georgia in 1995. He was a cook, barber, construction worker, roofer in his earlier years of employment. He worked as a warehouse worker at Fanatics until his demise.
Larry later reconnected with his college sweetheart Natasha and they were married in Jacksonville, Florida on July 1, 2017. He loved wearing his sports hats and sports jerseys. He was a very loving and devoted husband. He was a hard worker and loved spending time with his family. Those who knew Larry knew that he was a kind person, full of personality who always had a genuine smile.
Larry departed this life on Friday, August 14, 2020, and was preceded in death by: his father, Larry Wilson Sr.; his grandfathers, Eddie Wilson and L.C. Roe Sr.; and his grandmother, Inez Roe.
He leaves to mourn his passing: a very loving and devoted wife, Natasha Wilson; daughters, Aariyan Tooley of Auburn, Alabama; Tashawndra Solomon of Jacksonville, Florida; Nia Sirmons of Orange Park, Florida; son, Daunte Wilson of Valdosta, Georgia; grandchildren, Kareem Solomon of Jacksonville, Florida and Simone Sirmons of Orange Park, Florida; mother, Mary Wilson; brother, Benjamin (Carla) Roe, Sr. of Woodbridge, Virginia; sister, Lakeisha Wilson of Dallas, Texas; grandmother, Fannie Wilson; nephew, Benjamin Roe Jr. of Tallahassee, Florida; niece, Beniya Roe of Woodbridge, Virginia; 8 aunts and 4 uncles, Betty (Charles) Mc Caskill, Betty Carter, Charlie Mae (Walter) Thomas, Grace Godfrey, all of Valdosta, Georgia; Carolyn Rowe of Hahira, Georgia; Eddie Mae of Lansing, Michigan; Sarah (Oglesby) Jackson of Morven, Georgia; Verdie L. (William) Pointer of Battle Creek, Michigan; LC (Donnie) Rowe Sr.; Jimmy C. Rowe; Kenneth (Fay) Wilson all of Valdosta, Georgia; Mack (Dollie) Wilson of Nartasula, Alabama; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Charles and Gwen Whitehead of Ocala, Florida; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral service for Larry Darnell Wilson, Jr. will be held 11:00 am Saturday, August 29th, 2020 at the Funerals by T.S. Warden - Samuel C. Rogers, Jr. Memorial Chapel 4315 N Main St Jacksonville, FL 32206. The visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 pm, Friday, August 28th, 2020 at the Funerals by T.S.
