Lavalkus A. Jordan was born on September 7, 1975 in Jacksonville, Florida to Levi and Thomasena Jordan. Lavalkus, lovingly known as “Valkus”, attended the local Duval County private and public schools. He was employed with Standard Precast, Inc., until his illness. Lavalkus received several certifications through the State of Florida Education in Metal Inert Gas, Shielded Metal Arc Welder, Gasoline Engines Services Technology and Tungsten Inert Gas. He was a well-known Barber, which he loved. Lavalkus was baptized at a young age at St. Stephens AME Church. He touched so many lives with a flair for life.

Lavalkus departed this life on Monday, July 9, 2018.

Lavalkus leaves to cherish his memories a loving son, Lavalkus K. Jordan; a faithful devoted mother and father, Levi and Thomasena Jordan; sister, Lakisha (Kenneth) Bonnett; brothers, Lorne Jordan and Levi Anthony Jordan; nephews, Enoch, Brandon and Levi; uncles, Theodore Johnson and Clearence (Sharon) Johnson; aunts, Vivian (Lenny) Rowe and Catherina Johnson; a host of cousins, other relatives, friends, special devoted friends, Randy, Ja’mes, Corey, Dwayne, Betty, Eugene and Deven.
