Condolence: Please find comfort in the real hope of being reunited with Laverne by means of the resurrection promise at John 5:28-29. Rejoice, too, that in harmony with God's original purpose for us, Laverne and other resurrected ones, will have the opportunity to live on a paradise earth. (Luke 23:43) The Bible adds of these resurrected ones: "The righteous will possess the earth, and they will live forever on it. (Psalm 37:29) My sincere condolences for your loss!
