Leatha departed this life on Sunday, January 6, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents, Xenophone Hixon and Constance Hixon; son, Terrance Hixon; brothers, Xenophone Hixon, Jr. and William Green; sisters, Louise Thompson and Johnnie Mae Spaulding.
Leatha leaves to treasure loving memories with her daughter, Phyllis Hixon; sisters, Mildred Ponder (E.W.) of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and Hettie F. Copeland of Augusta, Georgia; 3 grandchildren, Zachary Hixon (Brittany), Derick Hixon and Ebony Hixon; 4 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of sorrowing friends.
