On November 18, 1949, the Lord blessed Leon William Coleman and Annie Simmons Coleman of Fernandina Beach, Florida with a daughter, her name was Leona Marie Coleman, affectionately known and called Leona. She was the youngest of 3 girls, Annie and Edith. Leona was reared and educated in Fernandina Beach, Florida. She attended Job Corp, where she received her nursing degree. Leona was employed as a Nursing Assistant, in the State of Maryland.

Leona departed this life September 16, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Annie Coleman Perkins.

Leona leaves to cherish her memories a son, Drawnn Love Hart; sister, Edith Coleman; grandchildren, Drawnn Hart, Jr, Terrance Hart (Baltimore, Maryland), Catina Hart and April Robinson (Atlanta, Georgia); special nieces, Genia Perkins and Venda Miller; aunt, Albertha Green; great nieces and nephews, Anessia Ellerson, Amos Southall, Stanley Barne, Johnta Washington, Bentley Perkins, Brian Perkins, Aaron Mills, Laveta Perkins and Anna Perkins.
