Obituary for Lillian Yvonne Harris

Lillian Yvonne  Harris
Mrs. Lillian Yvonne Harris was born September 23, 1943 in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Walter and Thelma Brown. She attended local schools and St. Pious Catholic School. In 1959 she married Frank Harris, Jr. and relocated to Atlanta, Georgia. After spending over eight years in Atlanta, she decided to return to Jacksonville to raise her children.

Lillian worked for the State of Florida Employment Office for over 32 years. In addition she worked for Boone Law office for 15 years. In 2006, Lillian retired as an employee to relax and enjoy her family and friends.

Lillian was preceded in death by her son, Frank Harris III. She leaves to cherish her memories, sons, Ronald Harris (Regina) and Donald Harris; daughter, Sylvia Pickett (Gerald); grandsons, Ronald Harris Jr., Ryan Harris, and Ernest Newkirk(Danyuell); granddaughters, Sable Pickett and Rochelle Galloway (Roosevelt); brothers, Walter Brown and Everidge Brown (deceased); sister, Estella Wells; devoted niece, Walteia Roberts, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, and many friends.

The funeral service for Lillian Yvonne Harris will be held 10:30 am Saturday, April 7th, 2018 at the Samuel C. Rogers Jr. Memorial Chapel 4315 N. Main Street JACKSONVILLE, FL 32206. The visitation will be 5:00 pm 7:00 pm , Friday, April 6th, 2018 at the Funerals By T. S. Warden 4315 North Main Street Jacksonville, FL 32206. Interment in Restlawn Cemeteries.
