Obituary for Lucille Cue Scott

Mother Lucille was born August 19, 1946 in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Alonzo Sanders, Sr. and Viola Simpo Moss.

She attended Douglas Anderson and worked in hospitality and home health care for many years. Lucille loved to dance and sing. She loved to participate in church functions, and she was an amazing cook. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and beloved friend to all that knew her, unselfishly giving of herself. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alonzo Sanders Sr and Viola Simpo Moss; husband, Frederick Scott; sons, Michael Washington and Ira Cue; siblings, Alonzo Sanders, Jr., Ethel Jones, and Evon Lennon.

She leaves to cherish her memories children, William Washington III (Angelia), Deborah Brooks, Deidre Perkins, and Carol Graham; grandchildren, Marticia Washington, Shaquita Washington, Latesha Williams (Andre), William Washington IV (Jasmine), Dominique Perkins (Kimberly), Darlene Brooks, Michael Brooks, Shanitra Graham, Ezekiel Allen, and Olivia Green; uncle, Wilbur (LC) Sanders; sisters, Ruthie Mae Goshen, Diana Martin, Sherry Sanders, and Chiquita Harper; and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, god children, and friends.
