Maner S. Washington was born on March 1, 1943 to Mattie Cohen in Trenton, New Jersey. She attended Trenton High School in New Jersey. Maner later met and married Lloyd G. Washington in Jacksonville, Florida, November 1992.
Maner departed this life on Tuesday, January 8, 2019. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mattie Cohen; aunt, Liz Bruton and uncle, Silas Cohen.
Maner leaves to cherish her memories: a loving husband, Lloyd G. Washington; brother Carliss Carswell (Nursene) and Leonard Bethel; nephews and nieces, Carliss Carswell, Jr., C.J. Wider, Carliss Carswell, III, Tron Carswell, Latrell Wider (Chris), Chyuarah Wider, Quincy Carswell and Imani Carswell; a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral service for Maner Washington will be held 12PM Tuesday, January 15th, 2019 at the Greater Macedonia Baptist Church 1880 Edgewood Ave W.
