Obituary for Marie Bryant (Jones)
Marie Bryant was born September 19, 1941, in Troy, Alabama to Pinkie Worrell and Joe Jones. She attended school in Pike County, Alabama and later moved to Jacksonville, Florida where she met her husband, Hilden “Pete” Bryant.
Marie was preceded in death by her parents: Pinkie and Joe; husband Pete; oldest son, Hilton R. Bryant; and very close sister-in-law, Sharon A. Moore.
She began her Christian walk in her early thirties by receiving the Holy Ghost after her baptism in the name of Jesus. She served the Lord faithfully until her transition.
Marie leaves to cherish her precious memories, daughters: Helen Williams, Carolyn (Robert) Pryor, Eva (Curtis) Bryant-Potts, Rosalind Bryant; sons: Keith and Emanuel Bryant; loving daughter-in-law: Ruth Johnson; sister: Ann Jones; brothers: Charles and Robert Jones; 16 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, Christian sisters & brothers, family and friends.
