Obituary for Marvin Edward Hearman

Marvin Edward Hearman was born on September 18, 1938 in Gainesville, Florida to Joe Hearman and Mattie Hearman. Marvin was a long time truck driver who retired as a car hauler from Allied Automotive. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He had the biggest heart of anyone and wasn’t scared to show his love and was always the first to forgive. Marvin enjoyed fishing, driving trucks, and spending time with his family and friends. He loved to laugh, tell bad jokes, and talk about the Lord. Although we know he is in a better place, our hearts will never be the same.

Marvin departed this life at the age of 82, on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 in his home with his family by his side. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Carlton Hearman; sister, Jean Cole; and brother-in-law, Otis Cole.

Marvin is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Cynthia Hearman; children, Marvin Hearman, Pamela Williams (Larry), Shawn Hearman, Ami Boone (Deke), Robert Hearman (Amber), Brandy Frazier (Kelvin) and Gabriel Hearman; sister, Lovie Gardner Johnson (Jay); beloved grandchildren, Marvin, Darrion, Larry, Keyshawn, Kyle, Riley, Haileigh, Aubrey, Olivia and Aidan; devoted nephew, Rodney Hearman; a host of nieces, nephews, great grandchildren; a cherished long time friend, Beter Nelson (Sandra) and a host of other loved family members and friends.
