Mary Alice Manning was born on November 27, 1946 in Jacksonville, Florida. She was the daughter of the late Void Wynn, Sr. and Mrs. Bertha Mae Relfor Winn. She received her early education in the Duval County Public Schools.

Mary Alice departed this life on Thursday, December 26, 2019 surrounded by those she loved and those who loved her and will forever cherish her beautiful memories, including her devoted daughter, Alisa NeSmith; grandchildren, Anthony NeSmith, Kiearra NeSmith, Donaven Manning, Antwan Goss, and great-grand, Aneya NeSmith; sister, Jearlean Winn; brother, Johnny N. Wynn, Sr. (Yvonne); sister-in-law, Shirley Winn; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
