Obituary for Mary Dell Tyson (Tyson)
Mary Dell Tyson was born in Moultrie, Georgie on January 27, 1952 to the late Eddie Lee and Verdell Tyson. She confessed Christ at an early age while attending Triumph the Church and Kingdom of God in Christ with the late Pastor LA Monroe, Sr. officiating. Mary graduated from Matthew Williams Gilbert High School in Jacksonville.
Mary worked as an assembly line tech at a medical supplies business decades ago. Mary was funny, sweet, lively and had a good heart. In July 2013, she was succumbed with illness and wasn't expected to make it. However, she came back defying all odds and remained with us.
Mary departed this life on March 13, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Freddie Lee Cunningham, Johnnie Mae Hicks, Ronald Tyson, and Willie James Tyson.
Mary leaves to cherish her memory: one daughter, Ferlesia Tyson; devoted siblings, Ronnie Mae Tyson, Myrtice (Henry) McBride, Susie Mae Eady, Martha Thomas, and Eddie Jr. (Linda) Tyson; sister-in-laws, Mary Tyson and Barbara Cunningham; grandchildren, Keon Tyson, Elecia Durham, Karra Durham and Eric Durham; 8 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral service for Mary Dell Tyson will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 26th, 2022 at the Funerals by T.S. Warden, 4315 North Main Street, Jacksonville, FL 32206. The visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., Friday, March 25th, 2022 at the Funerals by T.S. Warden, 4315 North Main Street, Jacksonville, FL 32206. Interment in Edgewood Cemetery.
