Obituary for MCAURTHUR HARVEY

McAurthur Harvey, a native of Jacksonville, Florida, was the first child born to McAurthur Harvey Sr. and Georgia Gullatt on December 16, 1988. McAurthur was educated in the Duval County Public School System, graduating from Jean Ribault High School. He had a passion for football and played various positions. McAurthur had various jobs in the Duval County area, with his last employment at A.J John as a machine operator.

McAurthur was reared in a loving family, he also was a lover of family, especially his three month old daughter Rajah McKenzie Harvey, and she was the apple of his eye. She brought him much joy and laughter.

McAurthur departed this life on Friday, August 26, 2016. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jethro and Delores Lang; paternal grandparents, Jarod Harvey Sr. and Daisy Bradley; his brother, Vincent Harvey; and aunt, Bonnie Gullatt.

McAurthur’s legacy of love will be treasured by his family: beloved daughter, Rajah Mckenzie Harvey; the mother of his child Kayla Morgan; loving mother, Georgia Gullatt (Charles); father, McAurthur Harvey Sr.; grandmothers, Lillie Harvey and Delores Myhand; brothers, Ed Lang and Rodney Stewart; sisters, Nicole Thervil (Crowyns), Latrice Byrd, Shantel Harvey, Ericka Lang, Brittany Phelps, and Courtney Gullatt; uncles, Anthony Lang, Kendall Richards (Michelle), Jerod Harvey Jr., Walker Myhand (Debra), Jimmy Harvey, Maurice Gullatt (Peaches), Ronald Gullatt, Kevin Gullatt (Velma), and Gerald Gullatt (Celease); aunts, Patricia Roberts (Leroy), Therese Taylor (Larry), Yvonne Smith (John), Ruby Thompson (Robert Lee), Carolyn J. Holmes (Mark), Gwendolyn Hicks (Bobby), Janet Gallon(Bryant), Rev. Connie Edwards, Cynthia Hankins (Harry deceased), and Deloris McPherson (Richard); a host of great aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; godmother, Francena Callahan and a special friend, Ed Gartrell.

The funeral service for MCARTHUR HARVEY will be held 1:30PM, Saturday, September 10th, 2016 at the Bethel Baptist Institutional Church 215 Bethel Baptist Street.
