Obituary for Michael Maurice "Mike" Boger

Mr. Michael Maurice “Mike” Boger, Sr. was born on February 16, 1966 in Ocala, Florida. He was the second child conceived thru the union of Mr. Jimmy and Gloria Boger, Sr. Michael attended school at Stanton Elementary and graduated from Lake Weirs High in 1984. Michael was baptized at the age of ten and he was a member of Stanton First Baptist Church where he was a part of the youth choir.

Michael worked in the grocery store industry; he was a produce manager at Sav-Mor Grocery Store in Ocala, Florida. After leaving Ocala in 1992, Michael moved to Jacksonville, Florida where he later met Rosalind Gray and they were married on August 5, 1996.

Michael was as we would like to say, a “jack of all trades” he worked as a plumber’s helper at different local plumbing companies such as Coastal Mechanical, Evans Fire & Protection and S.M. Betros. He also received his CDL license as a truck driver from Roadmaster in 1999.

Michael was well known for his kind heart and slick comments, which would have you laughing even until his untimely passing. On June 18, 2015, God called Michael home.

Michael leaves his memories and all his love to his devout wife of 19 years, Rosalind Boger; four children, Michael (Debra) Boger, Jr., Justin Boger, Brandon (Takeara) Eady and Brittany Eady; four grandchildren, Tristan, Tanner, Jermaine and Adrian; his parents, Mr. Jimmy and Gloria Boger, Sr.; one brother, Ashton Bojee; two sisters, Damita (Michael) Goods and Tennille (Dennis) Bonner; one sister- in- law, Mary Holback and a host of sorrowing family members and friends.
