Nikkie L. Jerido was born in Jacksonville, Florida on July 16, 1974 to her parents Catherine Rawls and Jimmy Jerido. She confessed Christ at an early age, and attended Stay in Touch with God Ministries. Mrs. Johnson received her education at Andrew Jackson Sr. High School, Jacksonville, Florida.

She departed this life on February 25, 2010 and was preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Jerido; grandmother, Marie Rawls and her aunts, Karleen Bell and Joann Rawls.

She leaves to mourn her passing, son, Jeroderick Lamar Baker, Jr.; mother, Catherine Rawls; soulmate for 14 years, Clifford Johnson; sisters, Latrisha Jerido and Shalonda Hayes; brothers, Richard Hayes, Jr., Jamal Jerido and Jabrell Jerido; grandmother, Melonece Martin great-grandmother, Jeffie Lue Briggs; uncles, Willie James Rawls and Ronald Jerido; aunts, Carolyn Creighton (Sheldon) and Patrice Jerido; great aunt, Claude Jackson and Letah Bell; nephews, Rishawn Bolden and Johnathan White; nieces, Jonesha White and Darielle Winn; godmother, Christine Smith other relatives and friends
