Obituary for Noah Flanders III
Noah “Pootney” Flanders III was born on November 17, 1944 in Bainbridge, Georgia to the late Mary Lou Lyons-Flanders and Noah Flanders II. He was preceded in death by the passing of 1 brother, Donald Flanders; and 5 sisters, Elsie Goosby, Latasha Flanders, Tammy Flanders, Levoil Flanders and Tracy Johnson.
Noah received his early education within the Duval County Public School System. He was a dedicated father of 2 sons, Germaine Jensen and Corey Flanders; 1 daughter, Selena Flanders. Noah was a Painter at heart and loved to paint seeing the transformation from old to new by a stroke of his brush. He held onto his brushes for many years until his health began to decline/fail.
Noah "Pootney" Flanders will always be remembered by his Family & Friends. He leaves to cherish his memories a large family whom enjoyed his personality and life. Noah resided with his sister and brother-in-law, Priscilla and James Hatch until being recently placed in Hospice Care. Rest in peace, No more Pain-Tears-Dialysis- Stress - Strain that's all gone now we LOVE you. Children: Germaine Jensen, Corey Flanders and Selena Flanders; Brothers & Sisters: Priscilla Hatch (James), Gwendolyn Coleman, Gregory Flanders Sr. (Lashun), Jerome Flanders (Maria), Reginald Flanders Sr. (Lorania), Kenny Wright (Lillie), Shelia Wright-Davis (Bernard), Jeffery Wright (Patricia), Edgar Johnson and Larry Johnson. Nephew & Nieces: Will Brown (Robin), Sabrinia Wyche (Hurtis), Hurtis Wyche, FaDonte Daniels and Calise Knight; Grand-Daughter: Jaelynn Flanders and other family members, Sam Bryant (Joy) and Janice Bryant and many others the list goes on.
