Obituary for Patricia Diane Jackson

Mrs. Patricia Daine Reed-Jackson was born April 18, 1954 to the late Mattie Reed Hayes and Rev. James C. Hayes Sr. in White Oak, Georgia. Patricia was an awesome mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She loved the opportunity to fellowship with family and friends, hosting and sponsoring many gatherings. Patricia was well-known to most as “Ninchie” and will be remembered for her southern hospitality, good cooking and loving spirit.

Patricia was educated in the public schools of Duval County. She attended William M. Raines High School, Class of 1973. She retired from River Garden Hebrew Home after 23 years of service. There she established herself as a loyal and dedicated friend and co-worker until her retirement due to health issues.

Patricia departed this life Friday, November 8, 2019. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Khadija S. Hayes and Cheryl Hayes-Gatlin.

Patricia leaves to cherish her memories: loving husband, Willie E. Jackson, Jr.; a devoted daughter, Jessica Nicole Williams; granddaughter, Dymond McGhee; grandsons, Bryce Bryant and Aiden Cobb; siblings, Rev. James C. Hayes, Jr. (Deloris), LoveVonia Hayes Nathan (Woodrow), Pamela Hayes, Deborah Williams, Jacqueline Rhodes, Ivory Rhodes, Darrell Rhodes, Theresa Rhodes Johnson (Van), Mervin Rhodes, Patrolia Kinsey Jackson (Willie) and Stehanie Kinsey; sister-in-law, Adilah Sharif (Omar); brother-in-laws, Ernest Jackson, Julian Jackson (Lucy); aunts, Shirley Small (Henry Sr.), Lucille Massey, Deloris Green (William) and Linda Reed; uncles, Robert Reed (Dorothy) and Jimmie Reed; devoted goddaughters, Janice Allen and Kesha Johnson; she also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many sorrowing friends.
