Patricia Leon was born on October 3, 1960 to Vernice Green and Jasper Leon, Sr. She lived in Jacksonville Florida where she had five beautiful kids named Antoinette Arline, Carol Leon, Jamie Leon, Tameka Chelouet, and Octavia Leon.

Patricia was married to David Blake for 23 years. She worked for Urban League for 30 years making sure any kids she knew had a guaranteed spot. She was a very loving, caring, kind, sweet lady who loved her family and church.

Patricia departed this life on Tuesday, July 21, 2020. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Jahiem Leon. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband; children; grandchildren, sister, Emma Samms Jasper Leon; brother, Harold Samms; nieces; nephews; and a host of other relatives. She was a wonderful grandmother to Daruis Leon, Makalia Wiggins, Steven Wiggins, Rico Snead, Marquita Arline, Jim’Mora Long, Da’Quan Leon, Giovanni Griffin, Jerriel Brown, Ariyah Leon, Ja’Yani Benner, and Ja’Kai Leon; and great grandmother to Kiori Nixon, Kahmari Nixon, Kie’Laja Snead, Tylah Leon, and Royal Snead; sister-in-law, RoyAnn Blake; and brothers-in-law, Benny and Dennis Blake (Gladys);

The funeral service for Patricia Elaine Leon will be held 2:00 pm Friday, July 31st, 2020 at the Samuel C. Rogers Jr. Memorial Chapel 4315 N. Main Street Jacksonville, FL 32206. The visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 pm, Thursday, July 30th, 2020 at the Funerals by T.S. Warden 4315 North Main Street Jacksonville, FL 32206. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery.
