Obituary for RICHARD ALLEN GREEN

Richard Allen Green affectionally known as “Lil Richard, Richy Rich & Billion” was born on April 14, 1996 to Charles Green and Angelica Hogan in Jacksonville, Florida. He graduated from First Coast High School in June 2014. He was employed by Gate Petroleum in Yulee, Florida. Richard was a loving and passionate person who believed family was everything! His passions included sports and music. He recently released his artistry for the world to hear; his final production was entitled, Make It Better, which talks about all the senseless dying that is taking place in Duval County and the world.

Richard had an affectionate spirit that brought joy to everyone that he encountered. Once you encountered Richard, your life would never be the same. He had an infectious laugh that was contagious, and a true comedian that would put Kevin Hart on his knees. Richard was a blessing to all who met him and a genuinely good “Young Man”! Richard accepted Christ at an early age, and once he truly understood his calling he rededicated his life in 2015. He was a member in the Young Adult Ministry and the chosen Jesus in the Easter Cantata.

Richard was released from his physical body on Sunday, July 9, 2017 at the age of 21. Richard was preceded in death by his grandfather, Richard Jones; aunts, Sylvia Leon and Deborah Senior; grandfather, Pratt Hubbard who passed the day after Richard.

Richard is survived by his mother, Angelica Hogan; father, Joseph Hogan; biological, father, Charles Green; sister, Chardanae’ Green; half brothers, Allen and Julius Green; half-sisters, Jinjah and Joi Green; grandmothers, Alland Jones, Maxine Green, and Josephine Hogan; grandfather, Charles Green; great-grandmother, Bertha Way; uncles, James Senior (Renee) and Sterling Jones (Nicole); aunts, Regina Stallings (Israel), Marlo Wilkins (Jerry) and Katina Green; a very special godfather, Garren Royal; godbrother, Marvin Scott III; godsister, Brooklyn Williams; a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and a very special friend, Jatarra Presley all whom he loved dearly.
