Obituary for Richmond Kwame "Rich" Assamoi

Richmond Kwame Assamoi , age 51, was born October 12, 1967 to Mr. and Mrs. Koko Ngouan in Ghana. Richmond known as “Ato or Big Daddy to some and Clement” to many. He studied agricultural engineering and learned the skills for success in life. At a young age, Richmond moved to the United States with nothing and made something for himself.

Richmond became an entrepreneur and built many businesses from the ground up. He loved people and had friends all around the world, and could make anyone laugh with one of his many jokes. Richmond embraced life with his passion for cooking, traveling, and gathering with friends. He loved life and lived it to the fullest.

Richmond unexpectedly departed this life Tuesday, April 23, 2019 in Jacksonville, Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Grace Forjoe and Lawrence Ngouan.

Richmond is survived by his wife, Stacy Prince Assamoi; children, George, Precious, Jazlyn and Thomas to carry on his legacy. His siblings, Andre Ngouan, Fran Avery and Christina Agboka. Richmond will live on forever in our hearts and memories.
