Obituary for Robert Andrew Dunlap

Robert Andrew Dunlap was born on March 28, 1936 in Maryville, Tennessee. Robert enlisted in the United States Navy in Pensacola, Florida and retired after many years of service. He received several awards, four good conduct metals, Navy Unit Commendation, Meritorious Unit Commendation, Vietnam Meritorious Unit Citation (Civil Actions Medal), National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Metal, and the Vietnam Campaign Metal with device.

Robert moved to Jacksonville, Florida and was employed with the NAS JAX as an Aircraft Mechanic. Robert departed this life on Wednesday, March 9, 2016.

Robert leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted wife, Rosa Maria Bolano-Dunlap; sister, Bessie Dunlap; brother-in-law, Orestes Amdor; good friends, Latrell Simon and Ron.

The chapel service for Robert Andrew Dunlap will be held 11:30 am Tuesday, March 15th, 2016 at the Samuel C. Rogers Jr. Memorial Chapel 4315 N. Main Street.
