She was preceded in death by husbands, Rufus Thompson and Lee Harris; daughters, Barbara Thompson-Reese Way and Vernamae Thompson (Infancy); sons, Levern Thompson, Dwayne Harris (Infancy); and brother, Vernon Grant.
Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her children: James Lee Thompson (Mona), Gedon Thompson, Gwendolyn Nelson, Letitia Harris, and Ruby Yolanda Harris (Bernard).
Grandchildren: Marva Yvette Thompson-Chinn, Twana Harris-Hayes (Alfred), Antonio Reese (Karetta), James “Scooter” Thompson, Terry Thompson, Rico Thompson, Lamark Blue, Sinekqua “Nikki” Price (Brian “Jae”), Shauncy Taylor, and Bambi Nelson-Lee (Darrick); 11 great grandchildren; 39 great great grandchildren; 1 great great great grandchildren; niece: Beatrice “Gail” Grant; cousin Ethel “Gootney” Lindsey; God son, Tony Hill: and a host of cousins and friends that loved her dearly.
