Sandra Salina Rose was born on October 29, 1951 to John Owens and Dorothy Owens in Leesburg, Florida. She attended the local schools of Duval County. Sandra was a child caretaker for 12 years and worked for Methodist Hospital for over 20 years.

Sandra departed this life on Tuesday, June 19, 2018. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Barry Bons, Jr.

Sandra leaves to cherish her memories: loving daughters, Dishonn Rose-Jones (Leon Jones) and Luciana Davis (Christopher Davis); mother, Dorothy Johnson; grandchildren, Alex, Rico, James, Miracle, Brittany, Diamond, Brianna, Joy and Indya; nine great-grandchildren, Caron, James Jr., Desmond, Skyler, Rikae, Ra’Naiya, Nard, Ava and Van; brothers, Ronald Johnson and Johnny Owens; godson, William Hodge (Lesile) and a host of other relatives and friends; special friends, Evelyn Holt and Linda Ford.
