Shaurnd Dominique Butler was born on February 23, 1992 to Selina L. Love and the late Rufus L. Butler in Jacksonville, Florida. He accepted Christ at an early age and attended Abyssinia Missionary Baptist Church on Kings Road. Shaurnd attended Forest Hill Elementary, Jean Ribault Middle & High Schools, graduating from Bible Baptist Academy in 2010.

Shaurnd was employed with PR2 Incorporation, he was a member of “4” Block Entertainment. Shaurnd was gifted and had a great passion for writing and rap music.  

Shaurnd departed this life Tuesday, November 19, 2019. He was preceded in death by his father, Rufus L. Butler.

Shaurnd leaves to cherish his precious memories: a very loving and devoted mother, Selina Love; stepmother, Cynthia Butler West; sons, Tyler Butler and Shaurnd Butler, Jr.; daughter, Taylor Baker Butler; brothers, Cornelius Robinson (LaVanceyer), Tyree Robinson (Mahogany); sisters, Salon Scott and Cyntoria Thomas; grandmother that he loved dearly, Annette Blue; uncles, Michael Shoto (Nicole) and Franklin Grant (Curtisha); special aunt, Alicia Carter (Carlos); godparents, Vanderlyn Walker Hurst and Joyce Warthen; along with a host of loving family members and friends.


The funeral service for Shaurnd Dominique Butler will be held 11:00 am Saturday, November 30th, 2019 at the Abyssinia Missionary Baptist Church 10325 Interstate Center Drive Jacksonville, FL 32218. The visitation will be 5:00- 7:00 pm, Friday, November 29th, 2019 at the Rock of Ages Baptist Church 7604 Smyrna Street Jacksonville, FL 32208. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery.
