Obituary for Sheila Ann Parker (Rivers)
Sheila Ann Parker the child of Richard C. Rivers, Jr. and Eartha Lee Cooper, was born on December 5, 1955 in Jacksonville, Florida. She attended the local schools of Duval County, graduating from Terry Parker High School.
Sheila worked as the Director at Child Time Learning Center and was a Nurses Assistant at the Southwood Nursing Center.
Sheila was preceded in death by her parents, Richard C. Rivers, Jr. and Eartha Lee Cooper; son, Johnnie E. Johnson, Jr.; brother, Joshua (Freddy) Cooper; and sisters, Shirley Harriel and Paula Stewart.
Sheila is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 31 years, Henry Lee Parker, Jr.; daughter, Clarissa Styles (Frederick); son, Henry Lee Parker, III (Laticia); grandchildren, Celeste Johnson, Frederick Styles, Jr., Makayla Styles, Harmony Parker, Honesty Parker, Heaven Parker, Haven Parker, Henry Parker IV, and Honor Parker; great-grandchild, Ava Edmonds; sisters, Geraldine Tanks, Marion Erwin, Yvette Rivers, Wanda Bullock, Mary Darby (John), and Tonyanika Rollins; brothers, Edward Thomas, Calvin Thomas, Raymond Thomas (Denise) and Richard Curtis Rivers, III (Christy); sister-in-law, Betty Jenkins (Elvis, Sr.); brothers-in-law, Antowan Parker and Johnny Parker; special family friend, Debora Frank-Mehou; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The funeral service for Sheila Ann Parker will be held 11:00 am Saturday, February 27th, 2021 at the St John's Missionary Baptist Church, 740 Bridier Street, Jacksonville, FL 32206. The visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 pm , Friday, February 26th, 2021 at the Funerals by T.S. Warden, 4315 North Main Street, Jacksonville, FL 32206. Interment in Jacksonville National Cemetery.
