Obituary for Shontell Desire' "TT" Samuel
Shontell was born December 8, 1999 in Ft. Carson, Colorado, to her proud parents, Shawn and Tameka Samuel. She was an army brat, with both parents being in the United States Army. Shontell moved to Jacksonville, Florida while still a toddler and attended the local schools. The family then moved to Dallas, Texas when she was a preteen where she attended middle school and high school. Mid 2017, her family relocated back to Jacksonville, Florida to be closer to family.
Shontell accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and joined Twin Springs Missionary Baptist Church, she was baptized by Rev. Charles G. Skinner, Pastor. While living in Dallas, Texas Shontell and her family were faithful members of All Nations Fellowship, Rev. Robert Canady III, Pastor. She was a dedicated member of the Youth Choir, Praise Dance and Mine Ministry. Praise dancing was her favorite of them all, it was her way to show her gratitude and praise God.
Shontell departed this life Thursday, December 13, 2018. She was preceded in death by a devoted godmother, Deborah Martin.
Shontell leaves behind her precious baby girl, Alayah Sky Zackery-Jones, whom she loved and adored. She is also survived by and leaves memories forever in the hearts of a loving mother, Tameka Samuel, father, Shawn Samuel; brothers, Timonn Samuel, Bernard Brown Jr., Shawn Samuels and Zyien Samuels; sister, Makkoya Jeney; devoted grandmothers, Faye C. Johnson (Darren) and Veronica Graham(Eric); grandfather, Craig Montgomery; great-grandmothers, Freddie L. Roundtree and Carolyn Banks; loving aunts, Latrice Roundtree, Lashonda Roundtree, Ronisha Albertie (Joshua), Jacquelyn Harris, Sheila Brice and Brittany Montgomery; uncles, Marquez Samuels, Draja Samuels and Edward Roundtree (Louise); cousins, Jaquale Roundtree, Rodklye Gibson, Anthony Roundtree, Adam Roundtree, Aushawn Roundtree, Devante Gibson, Jayce Sulph, Jaylah Albertie, Jayde Albertie, Riley Albertie, Rapheal Flucker, Avieal Harris, Edishia Roundtree, Ebony Roundtree, Amari Samuels and Jayden Brice; god brothers, Timothy Martin, Terrell Martin, Josiah Martin and Jason Martin; god sister, Deleon Martin; and a host of other loving and sorrowing family members and friends.
