Ms. Sonja Diane Sprott was born on August 8, 1945 in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Lester and Julia Mathews. She attended the local public schools and retired from The City of Jacksonville.
Sonja departed this life on Tuesday, June 1, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents; and son, Jason Sprott.
Sonja leaves to cherish her memory: sons, Shawn M. Sprott, Edward “Teddy” Sprott, and Charles D. Sprott; niece, Larette D. Jackson; aunts, Graylayn Lesesne and Beatrice Matthews; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
The funeral service for Sonja Diane Sprott will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 11th, 2021 at the Church of the Crucifixion, 3183 Edgewood Ave W, Jacksonville, Florida 32209. The visitation will be 4:00 - 6:00 p.m., Thursday, June 10th, 2021 at the Funerals by T.S. Warden, 4315 North Main Street, Jacksonville, FL 32206. Interment in Private.
