Obituary for Stanley Michael Borden
Stanley Michael Borden was born September 19, 1957 to the late Ernest and Frances Borden in Jacksonville, Florida.
Stanley departed this life on Saturday morning, January 23, 2021 at UF Health (Shands) Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida.
At an early age he attended Grace Baptist Church under the Leadership of the Late Rev. B. F. Brown, and the Late Rev. John A. Payne.
He attended Longbranch Elementary school and graduated from Andrew Jackson Senior High School in 1975.
For over 15 years, he was a long-standing, well respected and loved member of The International Longshoremen’s Association, Local (1408) of Jacksonville, Florida.
Stanley was preceded in death by both parents, Ernest and Frances Borden; one sister, Patricia Borden; and one brother, Vernon F. Borden. He leaves to cherish his precious memories a loving and devoted friend, Lynette Wakefield; one son, Stanley M. Borden (Frederica); four sisters, Shirley White, Mary Hunter (Claude), Vivian Weathers, Ninajo Stewart; one brother, Ernest N. Borden, Jr. He also leaves to cherish his memories a host of many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
